Lose Weight With Self Motivation
A recent research conducted by some experts at the University of Kentucky and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill reveals that self motivation can actually reduce weight.

This particular claims that motivation and weight loss are correlated. While weight loss cannot be done in an instant, one can facilitate it by doing some recommended activities. In this case, self motivation can help one speed up the process of weight loss.
Some Research
A 16-week intervention program was done by the researchers from the said universities that proved that self-motivation can help in losing weight.
The experiment, which involved 66 participants, had their food intake, weight, and exercise recorded each week. More than half or 37 patients lost about 5 percent of their initial recorded weight. All were powered with self motivation.
Under the said motivation, physical activities and balanced diet were required. The study was published on the Journal of Nutrition Education and behavior in the May-June 2010 issue.
If one is motivated to achieve something, there is no reason why one would not lose weight in just a few months. One must not be easily distracted with sources of frustrated as it would only worsen the weight problem. Self motivation is indeed one effective way of achieving one’s desired weight. After all, there is no one who can offer you the greatest help aside from your own self.
